England U21s' extraordinary ability remains. They've not only not lost a game in 16 weeks, they also have not allowed a single goal in that seven game stretch. The young Lions welcomed Austria to Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium in that which was the last planned match before this summer's U21 European Championship. Craig Dawson could captain the England side in the initial half (he was replaced at the break after going the full 90 last Thursday) and place in a great defensive shift, as he's been recognized to do. The game was very much back-and-forth throughout the first half, that's until the 40th minute, when a major decision from the referee finally opened the match. The ball was making its way to the area rapidly when Austrian goalkeeper Richard Strebinger came to the edge of his area to clear it. The goalkeeper's ground was not protected and he slipped, handling the ball not in the place. The umpire showed him a straight red card. The resulting free kick was just outside the place and Jonjo Shelvey powered it in to the bottom part of the internet. Britain would increase their benefit soon after the halftime break through Josh McEachran, who (somewhat) comfortably obtained from the place following an handball in the package. The culprit, Patrick Farkas, was shown his second yellow card and Austria were down seriously to nine men. Marvin Sordell came into the came in the 61st minute, changing Jonjo Shelvey. Five full minutes after entering the game, his first England goal would be scored by Marvin Sordell in quite a long time. Sunderland guy Connor Wickham made a marauding come across the area on his left hand side and enjoyed a quick corner to Marvin Sordell, who was facing purpose in the biggest market of the area but drifted somewhat wider. Sordell took the energy very first time, putting it through the legs of the Austrian opponent, and slotting house after dark substitute Austrian goalkeeper. England would add a final and fourth goal a few momemts later through Wickham. Sordell and Dawson will now go back to rejoin their Bolton Wanderers teammates before Saturday's day at Charlton Athletic.
