Corrections POUND Reuben Foster Will Have to Make Before Start of Alabama Career

To state that Reuben Foster's employment was a roller coaster will be the exaggeration of the offseason. The 6'1", 240-pound linebacker from Auburn (Ala.) High School wasAinitiallyAcommitted to Alabama, turned to Auburn in summer time of 2012, de-committed after Gene Chizik was fired by Auburn and ultimately closed with Alabama on national signing morning. Given that the recruiting process is completed, it is time to get down to business. Precisely what sort of person will Foster be at the Capstone? He's truly got the size, speed and skills to be always a celebrity linebacker under head coach and Nick Saban and defensive coordinator Kirby Smart. If you view his spotlight reel, you'll see a guy that flies to the ball, has terrific basketball instincts, moves sideline-to-sideline and is a superb form tackler. Once your jaw is picked by you up off the floor, that's, of course. Reuben Foster's Complete Trip looking survey But there's still work to be achieved for Foster to develop his game and develop into a star at the following stage. He has to become better in pass coverage. Granted, he's most likely not planning to be expected to accomplish a huge amount of that in Alabama's system, but if there is a weak spot in his game, that's it. Have a look at the 1:02 mark in the movie above. Carver (Montgomery, Ala.) Senior High School Jeremy Johnson took off, but Foster (No. 2 in blue) bit just a little bit on the play activity and was burned by the fullback coming out of the backfield. Had Johnson decided to hang in the pocket, he may have had a simple landing down the seam. That is definitely not a hit against Foster, while he wasn't asked to cover on view field very much in high school. School is all about continuing your education, and I'm sure Saban and Smart could make that section of his program. For the most part, Foster has good instincts and flies to the baseball. But teams that use misdirection could use hisAaggressivenessAagainst him. At the 1:11 mark of the show above, Foster (No. 2 in blue) touch on the fly brush, was solution of position to help make the handle, slipped after he saw what was going on, and Johnson took off on an extended touchdown run. Not rare. That's the main reason that spread solution crimes have grown to be more and more prominent. Foster's velocity and aggressiveness are both important assets; but if he hits on play reproductions, it may cause big plays from opposite offensesa'as was the case in the movie above. All in all, Foster has everything it requires to be a star at the following level. He has drawn comparisons to recently-retired Baltimore Ravens' linebacker Ray Lewis and New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo. Lofty praise, without doubt. He is not there yet, nonetheless it wouldn't be surprising at all to see him described in the conversation with these men in the future.
