Cottage likely home for Gunners ace - Clubcall

Agent Dimitri Seluk claims Andrey Arshavin will end up at Fulham because of his aim to stay in London as opposed to playing in Russia.

The 31-year-old Arsenal and Russia international playmaker's future at the Emirates Stadium appears to be over as he has again struggled for first-team football under Arsene Wenger this season following a loan spell at Zenit St Petersburg in his homeland at the back end of last term.He has only managed 16 minutes of football, as a late substitute against Chelsea, and has not started a single Premier League game.Zenit were the only club in Russia able to offer Arshavin a route back home, but he snubbed that deal because of his ambition to stay in England. And 'super agent' Seluk, who does not represent Arshavin, hit out at the player for also snubbing options in Spain and therefore reducing the number of clubs available to him when his Gunners contract expires this summer.Seluk claims Arsenal's big rivals will not be interested in signing Arshavin which will leave him with the likes of the Cottagers, who were linked with a swoop for his services last summer, as a possible destination. He told Sport,ru: "Top English clubs won't take him, and considering the fact that he doesn't want to leave London, the next club for Arshavin will be Fulham or something like that."
