Rafael Benitez's men threatened a comeback when Demba Ba won in the next half but were unable to notice it through. Belgian international Hazard feels Chelsea revealed City too much respect in the beginning half and paid the cost. He told The Sun: "We were terrified of City in the initial half. "We showed them an excessive amount of respect, and paid the price. Maybe we may have warranted another fate, but the game was started by us badly. The final 40 minutes were played by "we, but that's insufficient to beat City. "We had chances, and we thought we could make a move, but their keeper made some great saves."
