Wayne Rooney clearly wasn't letting rumours of his departure from Manchester United get to him at the club's training session today.
With the team being put through their paces ahead of Monday's visit of Aston Villa, the England striker was at the heart of the action with rumours of a summer move to PSG circling.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson fired rumours of Rooney's exit by claiming the striker no longer has a guaranteed place in his line-up.
Starting the last two games in an attacking midfield role, Rooney is no longer an automatic choice up front, and was substituted after a poor display in his last match at West Ham.
Ferguson said: 'We're picking teams to win and we did that at Stoke. I'll be doing the same (against Aston Villa) on Monday.
'As far as taking him off on Wednesday it was simple, he wasn't playing as well as Shinji Kagawa and we had to get that goal that mattered.
'There are so many games where Wayne Rooney has been better than most players, but on the night Shinji was playing so well.'
Three points from Monday's match could also see United confirm winning the Premier League and seal the club a 20th league title, should neighbours City lose at Tottenham on Sunday.
