The NIT tournament has come to be called the so-called "second-tier" college basketball tournament, but don't tell that to the 16 clubs that have moved on to the second round in the 2013 version with this function. Mercer, the Atlantic Sun runners-up to NCAA tournament No. 15 seed Florida Gulf Coast, continue steadily to thrive under pressure in 2010. They have a conquer top-seeded Alabama (on the highway, no less) earlier in 2010 and played Georgia and New Mexico fairly close in losses. BYU A little bit had been given up by me on BYU, specially since it appeared fairly simple in failures to Gonzaga earlier in 2010. I am a person that may declare when I'm wrong, because BYU features a good possiblity to wind through the rest of this competition and wind up in Nyc at the Ultimate Four. If that occurs who knows, perhaps an appearance will be made by Mitt Romney. The point is, the Cougars' most useful two players had things going on Tuesday evening. Brandon Davies and Tyler Haws mixed for 57 points, and Matt Carlino added still another 20 while the Cougars put up 90 points on the visiting Washington Huskies. With Tennessee out of the image in that part and the images already slipping for BYU, this is the sort of game that can spark this staff to the Final Four.
