The root of the problem is that enough people fall prey to allow the BS to perpetuate. Can you believe people are still falling for that 'Nigerian prince' concoction? Is there ANY other scam that has been exposed this openly and for this long? Yet the percentages of clowns falling for it keeps it alive.
And then you have the latest 'ransom' scam on the computer where the clowns ask for money to repair your computer AFTER disabling it with Mal-ware. Listen to ANY tech show ANYWHERE and you will have a bunch of people calling for some variation of above.
How about appoint a central location that EVERYFREAKINGBODY HAS to go to EVERYFREAKINGDAY to be apprised of whatever the bad guys are upto?
So if you turn your computer on, the FIRST screen should list all the scams currently in play. There should be NO way to avoid this first screen.
For the rest, would the same work for the freaking TV? You turn the TV on and the first thing on it is .....................
And if clowns are STILL falling prey, their address, phone number, account numbers etc. must be voluntarily mailed to the bad guys for a 'free-for-all' as these sitting ducks would have 'earned' that by then, don't you think?
