Akeem Jordan Signs with the Kansas City Chiefs

Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Akeem Jordan includes a new house, with a face at head coach. Per Pro Football Talk, Jordan has decided to a deal worth the league minimum of $200,000 with the Kansas City Chiefs, to return with former Eagles head coach Andy Reid. The 27-year-old linebacker had visited the Cincinnati Bengals early in the day this week and apparently received a present from the Eagles during that time; however, that might have just been posturing by his representative to drum up interest. In six NFL times, Jordan saved 262 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, two pushed fumbles and eight move deflections. Jordan's offer occurs the heels of beginning seven games for the Eagles last time, playing in 14 and finishing with 44 tackles and two required fumbles. The Eagles received linebackerAEmmanuel Acho from the Cleveland Browns in trade for backup running straight back Dion Lewis, which made re-signing Jordan less than a priority for the Birds, earlier this week. As new defensive planner, Bill Davis Jr. transforms the Eagles to a 3-4 position. Basic manager Howie Roseman and Philadelphia's brass have used the offseason revamping the team's linebacking corps. The Eagles have traded for Acho, closed Connor Barwin and Jason Williams in free company and traded for defensive end/linebacker hybridAClifton Geathers from the Colts.
